IEM
Universal
Each shell is crafted by hand from medical-grade acrylic. It has a solid black body beneath a swirly black-and-white faceplate bearing the Virtus logo in polished chrome. No two pairs have exactly the same faceplate.

Physical · Engaging · Musical
Engineered to impress.
Vortex is the IEM we built for pure musical enjoyment. It's the one you reach for when you want to feel the rhythm rather than analyse and evaluate it, without sacrificing the acoustic fundamentals. Heaps of fun, and effortless to listen to. It is built for one thing: making you press play again.

IEM
Each shell is crafted by hand from medical-grade acrylic. It has a solid black body beneath a swirly black-and-white faceplate bearing the Virtus logo in polished chrome. No two pairs have exactly the same faceplate.
The Vortex is built for the listener seeking a highly engaging, non-fatiguing monitor for everyday use. It serves perfectly as a daily driver for audiophiles who want to step away from critical listening and simply enjoy the music.
A 6mm DLC tweeter sits at the exact centre of a 10mm LCP driver. Every note leaves from a single point and arrives as one. That coherence is what lets a warm, bass-rich tuning keep its exceptional timbral accuracy, and it is what pulls you into the music and keeps you there.
10mm LCP Diaphragm Driver
Dedicated to the low and midrange frequencies. The Liquid Crystal Polymer diaphragm provides deep, textured bass impact and rich vocal reproduction.
6mm DLC Diaphragm Tweeter
Dedicated to the high frequencies. The Diamond-Like Carbon diaphragm handles high-frequency detail retrieval, maintaining energy and precise imaging without harshness.
The Low End, Done Right
The LCP diaphragm moves an immense amount of air and snaps back instantly. The result is bass with real depth and real texture, and none of it lands on your mids. It hits. Then it gets out of the way.

Both curves are levelled by their 200 Hz – 2 kHz average. Measurement rigs diverge above roughly 4 kHz, so read the treble as indicative.
We tested countless eartips and nozzle geometries during development. Sound is the only metric that dictates our choices. The Divinus Velvet tips delivered the exact acoustic synergy both the Apex and the Vortex required. The exceptional comfort was simply the final requirement met.

The ventilation system is engineered to provide atmospheric pressure balance for the co-axial dynamic drivers. By equalising the pressure within the shell, we eliminate "driver-flex" (the clicking sound upon insertion). This free-moving environment allows the bass driver to reach its full excursion potential without mechanical strain.
A standard passive crossover network interacts with source impedance, often shifting the intended signature. We engineered a high-precision 2-way crossover integrated with linear impedance technology to eliminate this variable. Our Impedance Matching Optimisation ensures the Vortex maintains a flat, consistent frequency response across a wide range of source output impedances. Whether you are using a portable DAP, a high-power desktop amplifier, or a streaming dongle, the sound signature and crossover behaviour remain completely identical.
Signal integrity is preserved within the shell using SPC (silver-plated copper) Litz wiring. The insulated multi-strand Litz structure maximises conductivity and minimises high-frequency signal loss.
Every connection inside the Vortex is fused with WBT's finest solder. We chose it for an ultra-low noise floor and absolute joint integrity. Conductivity stays perfectly consistent across every single contact point. No signal degradation. Just pure, uninterrupted sound, engineered to stay that way for years.
